Hand in Hand with Luwan Auxiliary Reading Experimental School —— Sunshine Dental Protection Campaign

On March 17th, the medical staff and party members from the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, with their hearts set on the well-being of children with special needs, visited Shanghai Luwan Fudu School to host a free dental health education and diagnosis event. The doctors conducted comprehensive oral examinations for each special child, carefully observing the condition of their teeth and gums, assessing potential risks of cavities and occlusion issues. They also inquired about the children's oral hygiene habits and their acceptance of oral care from the parents, and established oral health records for each child. For those children identified with severe oral problems during the assessment, in addition to providing treatment recommendations, a green channel for medical visits was created to ensure that the children could receive professional treatment in a timely manner. This measure not only alleviated the psychological pressure of the parents but also added more significance and depth to the event.
