IDA KOCHI BRANCH- CDH ACTIVITY - DENTAL CHECK-UP CAMP

A Dental Check-up Camp will be conducting by the Indian Dental Association, Kochi Branch, under the CDH Wing 2026 initiative at Signature Aged Care, Kunnumpuram, Kakkanad on 22nd April 2026 (Wednesday) from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

The camp aims to promote oral health awareness and provide basic dental screening for the elderly residents. A total of 80 participants will attend and benefit from the camp. The program includes oral examination, identification of dental issues, and personalized advice on maintaining oral hygiene, especially tailored to geriatric needs.

A team of four dedicated doctors will volunteer for the camp and will ensure smooth execution of the screening and awareness activities. The participants will be educating on common dental problems seen in older adults such as tooth loss, gum disease, dry mouth, and denture care. Preventive measures and the importance of regular dental check-ups will also be emphasizing.
