World Oral Health Day 2026 – Awareness Program Venue: PHC Kalapet Date : 31 March 2026
On the occasion of World Oral Health Day 2026, MBBS second-year students from PIMS actively participated in an oral health awareness program conducted at PHC Kalapet.
The session focused on educating students about the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene. Detailed instructions on proper brushing techniques were demonstrated to ensure effective daily oral care. Theme : “Happy Mouth is a Happy life “ 
Awareness regarding the harmful effects of tobacco on oral and general health was also emphasized. Students were given an overview of the various dental procedures and services provided at PHC Kalapet. Total 40 Students benefited.
An interactive question-and-answer session was held, during which participants clarified their doubts and gained better understanding of oral health practices.
