NOHP Puducherry -"Empowering Young Minds: Integrating Art into Oral Hygiene Education for Rural School Children"

As part of the *World Oral Health Day 2026* celebrations, a _Drawing and colouring competition_ was conducted at *GPS Abhishekapakkam* on 02-03-2026. T

he event marked the beginning of the month-long activities with the theme *“Happy Mouth is a Happy Life.”* Children from Class 5 actively participated in the colouring competition, expressing their ideas on good oral hygiene practices.

 A special oral health awareness talk was also delivered to students and teachers, emphasizing proper brushing techniques, healthy eating habits, and the importance of regular dental check-ups.

 Around *72* students got benefitted from screening. The program was interactive and informative, benefiting nearly *121* participants.
