NOHP Puducherry - The Grand Walkathon by the Beach

On the occasion of World Oral Health Day 2025, a grand Walkathon was organized in the state of Puducherry bringing together healthcare professionals, students,  to raise awareness about the importance of oral health to general public.

The event was graced by the presence of several esteemed dignitaries:
• Chief Guest: Sri K. Lakshmi Narayanan Sir, Hon’ble Minister of Public Works (PWD) .
• Special Invites:
• Dr. V. Ravi Chandran, Director of the Department of Health and Family Welfare & Dr. S. Govindarajan, Mission Director of Puducherry State Health Mission.
 
The walkathon saw enthusiastic participation from students, healthcare workers, and citizens, carrying banners and placards with messages promoting oral hygiene and healthy habits through the streets of pondicherry.The event aimed to spread awareness about the importance of brushing, flossing, and regular dental visits in preventing oral diseases.
