NOHP Puducherry - Mega Health Mela Day 1

Mega Health Mela Day - 1 at commenced at KAMARAJAR MANIMANDAPAM, KARUVADIKUPPAM on 28th February 2025.

This Mega Health Mela at Kamarajar Manimandapam, Karuvadikuppam, was a significant event, bringing together key dignitaries from Puducherry’s administration and health sector,with the presence of the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor Thiru K. Kailashnathan, Chief Minister Thiru N. Rangasamy, Minister Thiru Ak. Sai J Saravanan Kumar, Chief Secretary Dr. Sharat Chauhan IAS, and Health Secretary Thiru Jayanta Kumar Ray IAS, along with the Hon Speaker, Thiru Embalam Selvam participated.

The mega health mela serves as  an important initiative for public health awareness and services.

Mobile dental Van was actively available at the venue providing treatment for the public. A total of 110 patients were screened. The public were also provided with treatments like permanent and temporary restoration and oral prophylaxis.
Additionally, pamphlets on maintaining good oral hygiene and harmful effects of using tobacco on overall health were also given. Nearly 1625 people benefitted.
