NOHP Puducherry - Oral awareness talk program conducted at Sub centre - pandasozhanallur (PHC Nettapakkam) for NCD patients

27/3/26 Dental unit- PHC Nettapakkam # WOHD 26 Celebration @ SUBCENTRE PANDASOZHANALLU.The NCD patients were given awareness on Oral Health and its relationship to overall wellness. Do's and don'ts in oral care were explained. Brushing techniques were demonstrated using dental models and posters. Ill effects of Tobacco and its vulnerability among adolescents were highlighted. Role of TCC services and NRT gums availability at the facility were stressed upon. Oral hygiene pledge was taken. Oral screening was done and referred to dental OPD, PHC Nettapakkam for dental management. Oral health and insights of Tobacco pamphlets were distributed for good oral hygiene practices and healthy living.Beneficiaries: 17
