NOHP Puducherry - Oral awareness talk session and a poster competition conducted at AAM -PHC lawspet for nursing students of MTPGIHS.

AAM UPHC Lawspet**WOHD'2026 Celebration @ AAM UPHC Lawspet.Participants:
The General public / NCD patients (20) IGMCRI interns (10) / PGs  (5) MTPGIHS students (25) MTPGIHS staff (3), PHN, Medical Officers (2) were given awareness on General oral health, Chief guest: Dr. Kavipriya. O, Nodal officer, NOHP.Programme highlights:
Awareness session on the following;Do's and don'ts in oral care, Good & Bad oral behaviours and its early intervention and management & Nutrition. 
Harmful effects of Tobacco and its vulnerability among adolescents were highlighted. Oral health pledge was taken by all the participants (65) 
Oral health Poster and pamphlets were distributed to promote good oral hygiene practices.
A poster competition held among all the Nursing students of MTPGIHS on the same day and prizes were distributed by the Nodal Officer, NOHP and Medical Officer, AAM UPHC Lawspet. 
(3 prizes Best among 19 participants were selected  and given to the students 
The Nursing faculties and students were also given awareness on common dental problems and its prevention & early diagnosis  and management & oral hygiene measures to  promote good oral hygiene practices for Happy and healthy living.
Signature campaign also completed on the same day.
