NOHP Puducherry -oral health awareness and oral screening program conduct to Kesava Higher secondary school Uruvaiyar karikalampakkam

On 17.4.26, World Oral Health Day celebrations were held at Kesava HSS, Uruvaiyar. 
Students of class 8, 9 & 10 attended an awareness talk on 1.The importance of oral health and hygiene, and 
2.were educated about the harmful effects of tobacco use. 
3.A screening camp was conducted for all students present to identify common oral diseases, with necessary cases referred to the Dental OPD at CHC Karikalampakkam for treatment. 
4.A signature campaign was also organized during the event, where participants pledged their support to the theme “A happy mouth is a happy life.”  
The program benefited 27 students and 5 teachers, promoting greater awareness and commitment to oral health in the school community.
