NOHP Puducherry - Oral health awareness for NCD clinic at AAM - Jipmer Institute of Rural Health Centre , Ramanathapuram

Oral health awareness , screening and  treatment camp was conducted at JIPMER Rural Health Centre, Ramanathapuram on 13/01/2026. 
 Oral screening and basic dental treatment were provided to the general public. A tobacco awareness session was conducted for *NCD* patients, highlighting the harmful effects of tobacco use and the benefits of quitting. Oral hygiene instructions were also given to promote healthy practices. The camp aimed to improve oral health knowledge and encourage early detection and prevention of oral diseases. Nearly 45 benefitted.
