NOHP Puducherry-An oral health awareness program was conducted for the general public at sub centre - Embalam

As part of the *World Oral Health Day celebration* , a special oral health awareness program was conducted for the general public at the *AAM - SHC - Embalam* on 13.03.2026. The program aimed to create awareness about the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene and preventing common dental problems. Medical students from __Indira Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute_ (IGMCRI) actively participated in the program and supported the awareness activities. They interacted with the public and explained proper brushing techniques, the importance of regular dental check-ups, and healthy dietary habits for strong teeth and gums. Informative guidance and practical demonstrations were provided. Around *75* members of the public benefited from this awareness program
