NOHP Puducherry - Oral Health Awareness in a Rural Farm School of Puducherry

The National Oral Health Programme (NOHP) Puducherry, on the account of world oral health day conducted an oral health awareness session at a rural farm school, focusing on educating students from farming communities about the importance of oral hygiene and preventive dental care. Rural people often lack access to dental healthcare and awareness, making such initiatives crucial for early intervention and lifelong oral health habits.  By focusing on interactive education, prevention of tooth decay, tobacco cessation awareness, and linking these farmers to government dental services, the initiative helped create a healthier future generation in rural communities.  Benefitted 50 farmers.
