NOHP Puducherry - Oral health Talk & Treatment Camp at Government High school , Kombakkam

An oral health and tobacco awareness program was conducted by the School - MDU team at _Government High School,_ Kombakkam, on 22/01/2026. A health talk was delivered to students on the ill effects of tobacco and the importance of preventing oral cancer. The theme *“Happy Mouth Is A… Happy Life”* was introduced to emphasize the role of good oral hygiene in overall well-being. Oral hygiene education was provided, and correct brushing techniques were demonstrated using posters, banners, and dental models.
   Oral screening and basic treatment were also carried out to detect dental problems at an early stage. The program effectively motivated students to adopt healthy habits. Overall, nearly 158 students benefited from the initiative.
