NOHP puducherry -A special oral awareness program conducted at general public in Kamban kaliyarakam

As part of the *Youth Festival 2026* held at *Kamban Kalayanam* Puducherry  on 30.03.2026, a special program was organized in observance of _World Oral Health Day._ A dedicated stall was set up to promote oral health awareness among students and the general public.    
        Cultural events and programs conducted , almost *500* general public and students participated in the  event. A signature campaign was initiated, encouraging participants to pledge their commitment to maintaining good oral hygiene practices. Informative pamphlets on oral health were distributed to enhance public knowledge.
       An attractive exhibition based on the theme “ *A Happy Mouth is a Happy Life”* was displayed, highlighting the importance of oral hygiene and its impact on overall well-being. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and the general public throughout the day, from morning to evening sessions. Our interns and World Oral Health Day team members actively managed the stall, engaged with visitors, and provided valuable guidance on maintaining good oral health practices.
