NOHP puducherry-The theme Happy Mouth is a Happy Life.Oral health awareness talk given to ANC mother

On 18/03/2026, as part of World Oral Health Day (WOHD) celebrations, an oral health awareness program was conducted at CHC Mannadipet under the theme “Happy Mouth is a Happy Life.” The session focused on antenatal (ANC) mothers, emphasizing the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene during pregnancy. Proper brushing techniques were demonstrated to ensure effective plaque removal and prevention of dental problems. Additionally, important do’s and don’ts during the pregnancy period were clearly explained to promote both maternal and oral health. The program benefited a total of 25 participants, including 2 ANMs and 3 ASHA workers, who actively took part in the session
