Summary of the 2026 "3·20 World Oral Health Day" Science Popularization Activities Chinese Stomatological Association, Committee on Oral Nursing

During the 2026 "3·20 World Oral Health Day", under the requirement of the Chinese Stomatological Association, the Committee on Oral Nursing organized 75 stomatological medical institutions, medical universities and colleges, and nursing committees nationwide to carry out multi-scenario oral health science popularization and public welfare services with the theme of "Healthy Mouth, Happy Life". The activities featured extensive coverage, innovative forms and remarkable results.

I. Organization, Deployment and Coverage

Adhering to the whole-life-cycle care concept, the activities were unifiedly planned and multi-location linked, covering campuses, communities, elderly care institutions, special groups, public security and fire control, military forces, primary health centers and other scenarios. An integrated system of prevention, science popularization and services was established, with precise outreach to children and adolescents, the elderly, migrant workers, special patients, military and police personnel and other groups.

II. Activity Forms and Featured Highlights

  • Solid offline services: Free clinics, lectures and health guidance were provided, serving a total of 51,407 people with 1,647 medical and nursing staff involved.
  • Rich interactive experiences: Fun activities such as "Little Dentist", health talk shows, stage plays, painting quizzes and parent-child interactions were launched to enhance participation.
  • Empowerment by digital technology: New models including AI oral screening, online live streaming, short video communication and intelligent mobile clinics were promoted to expand coverage.
  • Outstanding featured brands: Cross-scenario linkage, cross-industry integration and targeted assistance were carried out to build warm and influential public welfare brands.

III. Activity Outcomes

The activities served more than 51,000 people with sufficient professional support and novel, down-to-earth forms. They effectively popularized oral health knowledge, fostered a sound social atmosphere of attention to oral health, and further improved the national oral health literacy.

IV. Future Plans

Next steps will focus on improving the normalized science popularization mechanism, strengthening digital empowerment, deepening regional resource sharing, continuously targeting key groups, advancing whole-life-cycle oral health care, and contributing to the Healthy China initiative through high-quality science popularization services.
