World Oral Health Day 2026 in Palestine will be celebrated through a combination of scientific dialogue, community outreach, and digital awareness campaigns, organized by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Palestinian Dental Association, the International Association for Dental Research – Palestine Section, and Al-Quds University.
A national webinar titled “Oral Health in Palestine: Research Insights” will present recent research findings on dental caries, periodontal disease, oral health in humanitarian settings, links between oral health and noncommunicable diseases, and antibiotic prescribing practices in dentistry. The event will conclude with a discussion on integrating oral health into primary health care in Palestine.
Additional activities will include targeted community outreach for children, distribution of toothbrushes and oral health education materials, and a student-led social media campaign featuring short educational videos and awareness posts. These activities aim to promote preventive oral health practices and highlight the importance of oral health as part of overall health and well-being.
