World Oral Health Day 2024 Campaign in Tumpat District, Kelantan

On 20th March 2024, World Oral Health Day was celebrated gracefully in district of Tumpat, Kelantan State, Malaysia.

In conjuction to WOHD24, all seven government dental clinics in this district had conveyed the oral health messages in their own creative ways.

Klinik Pergigian Tumpat displayed an exhibition of Dental Health Promotion Unit with QnA booth at the patient's waiting area, and also dental health talk by one of the Dental Officers.

Meanwhile in Klinik Pergigian KK Tumpat, the importance of oral health and dental health are remarkable and distinctively displayed in short video presented at the patient's waiting area.

Despite of the hectic schedule and daily routine, all of the dental staffs and auxiliaries were soo overwhelmed and happy to share dental health messages to patients, even on the chairside. Toothbrushing drill sessions were done at the Kindergarten in Pengkalan Kubor and primary school in Pasir Pekan on that day, concurrently with WOHD 24 celebration.

All in all, oral health promotion was one of the efforts to enhance better oral health and to promote engagement with the society. We sincerely thanks the dental team from Tumpat district who had put so much hope and effort for the betterment of the oral health in the society.
